False religion where churches burn, <br />And Satanists spread the word, <br />Of death, violence and destruction, <br />To steal away hope and, instead, <br />Give abandonment to the masses, <br />And promote war and suffering, <br />To see people get shot and stabbed, <br />And live in a valley of litter, <br />A place you could only call hell, <br />To see them spread hate, <br />And deem a psychotic fate, <br />That leaves all without hope or love, <br />To take away opportunities and equality, <br />To push and pull the rope in hatred, <br />And see us all burn, like pigs being roasted, <br />The men of Satan seeing those scream as they die, <br />To watch the world disintegrate with atomic bombs, <br />And bow down to the dark lord, <br />Who will tempt you and betray you, <br />Everything he promises a lie, <br />For he will hurt you and desert you, <br />Leave you to feel the pressure, <br />As you wish you had followed the ways of the lord, <br />A lord who will never betray you: <br />Only offer you love and hope, <br />And hand you that rope, <br />When stormy seas rock your boat, <br />And he will never leave you in a river of trash, <br />He will rise up and show you new ways, <br />Ways to make this world a better place, <br />A place where only false religion can burn.<br /><br />Paula Glynn<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/false-religion/
