You might think there’s a creepy castle, <br />Lost somewhere in time, <br />You might think it has ghosts all around, <br />But it’s just in your mind. <br /> <br />You might think there are aliens, <br />Those green and red slimy things, <br />You might think there are U.F.O’s, <br />Those unidentified flying things, <br /> <br />Do you believe in vampires? , <br />Those creatures with long white fangs, <br />You might think they drink human blood, <br />But it’s just in your mind. <br /> <br />You might believe in witches, <br />They laugh with a scary look, <br />You might think they have black cats, <br />Or a bat to cook for food. <br /> <br />You can imagine Egyptian mummies, <br />The Egyptian book of the dead, <br />You might think that they wake up every full moon night <br />But it’s just in your head. <br /> <br />You shiver when you always think of, <br />A werewolf in the night, <br />They eat human flesh so yuck and sticky, <br />But it’s just in your mind. <br /> <br />You can’t forget the Medusa from Hercules, <br />She turns everything to stone, <br />Just keep a mirror in front of her, <br />And you will see that she turns herself into a stone. <br /> <br />You can imagine all sorts of creepy things, <br />That makes you shudder with fright, <br />But please don’t yell mummy when you see them, <br />C’ause it’s just in your mind.<br /><br />Meriam Joseph<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/it-s-just-in-your-mind/
