I fail to put her in my poems
as she cannot be confined in any.
surely, not in adjectives of my description.
she is all beyond and above
It is an unseen angel I love

I don't write romantic phrases
I only write to her my praises
and she in turn, writes back
and this is the way we love in stages.

I've questions, innumerable with me now.
Does her face challenge the charm of moon
or appearance, soft shade in sultry noon?
Do her lips utter less
or she speaks from her eyes?
She lingers on my mind like a tune
I wonder what her voice would be like?

Is her smile, a blossom in spring
or the horizon of a cold evening
but one thing I know for sure
an unseen smile to me means everything.

People I see, betray me everyday
so its better to love an unseen.
she is from beyond and above
she is an unseen angel I love.

Saket Mishra

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/unseen-angel-2/
