As i sit and wait in darkness <br />i focus on whats come you see. <br />words she says cut with sharpness <br />now pain from depression i bleed. <br /> <br />empty pain within my chest <br />my heart she took with her. <br />i give it all i tried my best <br />yet memories of her still linger. <br /> <br />impossible now to just move on <br />a restlesss night with no sleep. <br />approaching now the light of dawn <br />out my bed i slowly creep, <br /> <br />i start my day like nothings changed <br />torment felt just needs to end <br />hiding truth that fills with shame. <br />i write my poem for thoughts to mend <br /> <br />a notebook i confide these thoughts <br />of a heart thats filled with sadness <br />of a torment love hate has brought <br />now endless nights i sit in darkness<br /><br />joseph juarez<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/darkness-363/
