we are related on intimate chains <br />there are no strangers here <br />one cannot say i do not know you <br />names are nothing but tags <br />on goods that know how they are made <br />and displayed and <br />eventually sold <br />nothing remains here unshaken <br />to each his pleasures and <br />pains <br />those that pretend they are staying <br />had already been discarded by <br />fate, and those who voluntarily take the journey <br />as expected <br />are handled smoothly by their <br />destinies <br />delivered to the gates of their dreams <br />and sleep there <br />for a while <br />we are what we are <br />bodies with souls <br />minds that always speak <br />and can never be restrained <br />by our faiths <br />we have grasses and fires for metaphors <br />goats and pigeons <br />the sky above us <br />the layers of rocks below us <br />we face walls and curtains <br />we did the dance and we have sung so well <br />we were in the same house <br />this heaven and hell <br />this self and others <br /> <br />now why do you tell me <br />that you are alone?<br /><br />RIC S.
