Happiness is ice-cream <br />covered with yummy toppings. <br />It is fluffy and soft, <br />and full of light and warmth. <br />It is a book or game, <br />a favorite hobby or pastime. <br />It is a fantasy or a daydream <br />with which we create. <br />Happiness is a cozy chair, <br />a warm fire burning in the hearth. <br />It is the snow (balls) your friends throw <br />as is covers the land in beauty. <br />Happiness is the change in the seasons, <br />the transitions the world makes in its axis. <br />It knows no bounds, <br />it has no boxes to keep it contained. <br />Cuddly bears and baby blankets, <br />fill childhood with joy. <br />The sand and the ocean, <br />crashing to shore. <br />Mixing. <br />Dragging at wiggling toes, <br />trying to pull you in. <br />Seashells that sparkle like jewels <br />and sand dollars you’ll never spend. <br />Happiness is an ocean timing <br />with hope that borders the soft <br />billowy sand of beaches filled with delight. <br />it is wherever you are, <br />and wherever you’ve been. <br />Happiness is whatever you want it to be.<br /><br />Brooke Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/what-is-happiness-9/
