Through the mist I fly <br />Not looking towards the sky <br />Feeling my way with thought <br />In the night my courage sought <br />The moon has risen high <br />Gliding through the trees, I sigh <br />As I see the moonbeams light <br />I whisper “Oh, what a sight.” <br />Such beauty for my eyes <br />In this, my soul flies <br />Freedom from the ground <br />Quiet with no sound <br />Gliding through the night <br />My heart travels in full flight <br />The mist begins to thicken <br />My heart begins to quicken <br />Darkness seems to over come <br />My flight echoes a soft hum <br />Then in the darkness, love appears <br />And diminishes all my fears<br /><br />(De Va)<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/soaring-9/
