Left out, indeed she is. <br />Untalented fool walking in the oblivion. <br />Her hands were left empty, <br />While others have a ton. <br />She sees everybody's beginning to fly <br />And she’s slowly drowning into nothingness. <br /> <br />Curse of the ill-fated soul. <br />Special present hasn’t given to her. <br />She's relentlessly grasping for air, <br />But she cannot hold on much longer <br />Her heart unhurriedly tearing apart, <br />The water is slowly swallowing her alive. <br /> <br />People staring at her, <br />Wishing the water will drag her down even further <br />She tried to cry out even louder, <br />But she realizes she's a hopeless loser. <br />She decided to let go and slowly fade away <br />Believing she’s a nobody in this world. <br /> <br />Can somebody help her? <br />Can somebody swallow their own ego? <br />Extend your hand if you must <br />She’s dying, approaching her last breath. <br />Time hurriedly takes her down <br /> <br />Can somebody dive into the water of emptiness, <br />And give away the prize? <br />The wind is passing by full of loneliness <br />Don’t ever think twice, save her if you must, <br />Before the water swiftly tears her apart.<br /><br />Karima Puzon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/drowning-95/
