Learning to love again <br />~ <br />It is with a still fear I proceed <br />Learning to love again <br />I keep hearing little thoughts <br />Saying I have been here before <br />Full of the joy and happiness <br />Before it all came to an end <br />Filling me with a diseased sadness <br />That poisoned my mind <br />How could this be any different <br />Have I learnt from my past <br />Should I show full faith and trust <br />In what each tomorrow will bring <br />I’m learning to do just that <br />In spite of those thoughts <br />I’m a storm of contradictions <br />Ambition blinds fear <br />And fear keeps reminding <br />Of the love I have and have lost <br />Each one echoes in stillness <br />Though I continue onwards <br />Learning to love again<br /><br />Matthew Holloway<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/learning-to-love-again/
