Way down yonder in the Golden Pasture, <br />Where the farmer can preach to the Pastor, <br />I saw a bright Golden Flower, <br />It was near nigh twas a Golden Hour, <br />It had an aura mighty and strong, <br />It stopped glowing that’s when I knew something was wrong, <br />The moon said goodbye as did the sun, <br />The farmer grabbed his wife and his son, <br /> <br />Way down yonder in the Darkened Field, <br />Where the farmer’s job is a different Field, <br />I saw a deep Darkened Flower, <br />It was broad day twas a Darkened Hour, <br />It shook the earth below it with a might roar, <br />It started to grow more and more, <br />The farmer aimed his gun and his son intended his rifle, <br />The wife got close to the Darkened plant and began to rifle, <br /> <br />Way down yonder in the Majestic Meadow, <br />Where the cows had always loved to Meadow, <br />I saw the Majestic Flower, <br />It was half past noon Twas a Majestic Hour, <br />It laughed and graced everything around it, <br />It made the farmer jubilant and made him take a sit, <br />The farmer ate his vittles and drank his logger, <br />And the boy went back to cutting wood like a logger, <br /> <br />Way down yonder in the Golden Pasture, <br />Where the farmer can preach to the Pastor, <br />I saw a bright Golden Flower, <br />It was near nigh twas a Golden Hour, <br />It had an aura mighty and strong it twas like a Guru, <br />It was laughing and teaching us all to be true, <br />The farmer kissed his wife and hugged his son, <br />The farmer then watched with his family the setting sun.<br /><br />Aaron Tate<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/way-down-yonder-in-the-golden-pasture/
