As you begin, your 51st year
We pray that it starts, with joy and cheer
Because we all know, that as the year moves on
Your memory will fail, and your wits will be gone

You’ll forget where you’re going, you’ll forget why you came
You’ll forget who we are, you’ll forget your own name
You’ll fall asleep, in your office chair
You’ll lose even more, of what’s left of your hair

You’ll find yourself staring, at pictures on walls
You’ll answer the phone, when there are no phone calls
You’ll misplace your keys, you’ll misplace your car
You’ll misplace yourself, and not know where you are

You’ll remember the meeting, but forget where it’s at
You’ll be roaming the halls, and that will be that
But have no fear, our fine OLD friend
For we will be with you, til the dark and bitter end

Yes we’ll see you through, all the tears and pain
Til Your 52nd year, when we do this all again.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A.
