I would not be the one to suggest, <br />That the Earth is a living and breathing entity. <br />Superior in thought than mankind will ever be. <br />No. <br />This 'thing' is just a ball in space. <br /> <br />I would not be the one to suggest, <br />That from the Earth... <br />All that has come to witness life, <br />From Earth had its birth. <br />From ashes to ashes. <br />Dust to dust. <br />From dirt to muddy up when it rains? <br />No way. <br /> <br />I would not be the one to suggest, <br />Any of this. <br />Even hypothetically. <br /> <br />Since everyone knows... <br />We came here bestowed upon this, <br />Our existence... <br />By way of immaculate conception. <br /> <br />Divine! <br />With a purity and wholesomeness, <br />As commemorated on December 8th.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
