What is done is done. Listen to your heart. <br />All those lines I’ve heard before. <br />I’m sick of people telling me to listen to something that won’t speak to me. <br />I’m tired of being lead a stray because I try to listen to something that refuses to speak to me. <br />And for god’s sake I know that I did to you was wrong <br />but why must I suffer for what my heart told me to do. <br />Why should I suffer because I don’t have you? <br />I know I was in the wrong but I want you. <br />No I need you. <br />You made me happy. <br />You made my heart speak. <br />And now that I’m away from you the stupid thing is silent. <br />It won’t tell me where to go or what to do. <br /> I just can’t do this anymore. <br />I wish I could take back what was said and make it all better. <br /> I wish I never listened to my heart. <br /> But like you said what’s done is done and I can’t do anything about it. <br />I wish I could I wish upon every star I see, but still nothing. <br />Oh well I guess I just go back to listening to nothing again. <br />But I still wonder why they tell you to listen to something that never speaks what you need to hear. <br />And that thing is that I need you.<br /><br />Kelsea Osterman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/listen-to-your-heart-6/
