WHAT WE DO WITHOUT GOD? <br /> <br />What would we do without God? <br />Without God our world would empty of its mysterious connections <br />Its hidden resonances would diminish <br />We would live in the clear glow of endless nothingness? <br /> <br />What we do without God <br />And without that hint of something far beyond what we can imagine? <br /> <br />Where would we be if left with physics and chemistry alone? <br />Low creatures of higher mind who could discern in intelligent formulas <br />Their own final demise <br />Who would not be blessed or know the sacred sounds <br />Of God’s music unknown- <br /> <br />Without God <br />We are just a string of particles waiting to be exploded <br />Nothing we would know <br />Would be holy enough to be saved.<br /><br />Shalom Freedman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/what-would-we-do-without-god/
