There is a true man in every soldier, <br />All can see it when they walk, <br />There is a grace in every soldier, <br />All can hear it when they talk. <br />There is nerve in every soldier, <br />All can spot it in their eyes, <br />There is devotion in every soldier, <br />It is sure, they will not compromise. <br /> <br />There is everything in every soldier, <br />Those have make them place apart, <br />There is strength in every soldier, <br />That bangs from their heart. <br />Being a soldier is not a label for any man, <br />That can be purchased or borrowed to woo, <br />It is the greatest honor to a man, <br />Like the soul for a body, hidden deep inside of you. <br /> <br />Soldiers' trade isn't ceased after, <br />Performing all the routine jobs of the week, <br />All the soldiers are always a soldier, <br />No matter they are conscious or sleep. <br />For a soldier country is always first, <br />And every thing even his life is left behind, <br />A soldier has to sacrifice himself for what, <br />Is decided by his leaders’ mind and sound. <br /> <br />If you are a true nationalist - <br />Next time you see a soldier; <br />Learn by heart what they do and act, <br />He is the cause for our soil is 'abode of the liberated'. <br />He is the one that is valiant and shielding you and me, <br />I salute you from the bottom of my heart, - <br />.....Thank God You blessed this land with soldiers brave, <br />Thank God for what YOU and they do for our chart!<br /><br />Dr. Yogesh Sharma<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/soldier-52/
