I stand tall, as the wind blows my hair with its gentle breeze, <br />It feels like I am flying over the ocean seas. <br />Like you’re lifting my cares away, <br />Making more vanish each day. <br /> <br />If this is the price I must pay, I will keep you forever each day. <br />I feel like im being protected, As if im connected to you. <br />I feel like you watch over me, like you want to set me free. <br />Set me free of all of my pain, end this awful game. <br /> <br />I love the way you speak, its like heaven's angel's singing. <br />Your eyes look at me so softly I feel like the world is calmed. <br />Your heart burns like fire, each time you see me. <br />This proves you love me. <br /> <br />I can tell, from the way you walk, and each time you talk. <br />I can tell from the way you smile, how it only happens around me. <br />This is the way my life should be. <br /> <br />Not a care it the world to take me away, <br />Not a soul in the world to hurt me that way. <br />Just you, to make me laugh and pretended I’m always okay. <br />I have a few words to say to you, <br />And that’s, I Love You.<br /><br />Samantha Rose Turner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/you-save-me/
