looking through the cracked window <br />watching storm clouds start to roll, <br />powerfully overtaking the clear sky <br />light fades and becomes a dark grey. <br />this darkness, its comfort unsettling, <br />familiar peace before a deadly storm. <br />swelling clouds rumble, angrily blowing, <br />a breeze sends shivers running down. <br />all warmth is quickly chased away <br />in darkness brewing, cold has set in. <br />loud thunder vengefully commanding <br />with a painful crack, rain starts falling, <br />trickling, sadly rolling down the glass. <br />shaking in fear the trees are swaying <br />wind forcefully demanding, taking will <br />tiredly bending, trees snap, breaking. <br />aching heavy rain droplets pouring, <br />unceasingly hitting the cracked glass. <br />entranced, watching the raging storm <br />lightening crashes, as glass shatters <br />cutting the weak, as darkness creeps <br />the storm enters, peace is driven away <br />manifested strength hungrily devours <br />calm is fading as the storm rages on.<br /><br />Silentpoet Grl<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-raging-storm-3/
