There were these times of my life, when things forever went wrong! <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />I used to talk, but only to kill that silence within. <br />I used to smile, but tears never stopped flowing. <br />I used to study but the lines never had any meaning. <br />And, I used to write too, but never with an instinct or feeling. <br /> <br />Then, one day <br /> <br />I got a lamp. <br /> <br />It was magical. <br />For things changed. <br /> <br />I started talking without looking at the clock. <br />Killing silence was a distant thing; I never could shut my mouth. <br />I never again required a reason to smile. <br />Studies, as usual seemed boring: but the best part, we failed together <br /> <br />And Writing... <br />It could never have been better!<br /><br />Rosmin Elsa Mohan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/diya-2/
