Mirror mirror on the wall <br />Who's the Fairest of them all <br />Hair black as ebony, skin white as snow <br />Lips red as blood, and inner beauty shows <br />Green of jealousy in Queen's heart grows <br />Queen gives orders, Princess flees <br />Huntsman hunts, amongst the trees <br />Huntsman cuts, sow's heart in chest <br />Organ cooked at Queen's request <br />Queen feasts upon the bloody meat <br />Then slowly rises to her feet <br />Mirror mirror on the wall <br />Who's the fairest of them all <br />Mirror shows the girl in woods <br />Cottage of dwarves with precious goods <br />Queen's heart now black with rage <br />Plots to kill and summons her page <br />Blood red fruit, poison's kiss <br />Eve's own apple does not miss <br />Thus beauty sealed in coffin of glass <br />Awaiting noble Prince to pass <br />If true love's kiss frees her from sleep <br />Princess is doomed to slumber deep <br />For Prince lies dead at Queen's feet <br />So Prince and Snow may never meet <br />The dwarves soon leave, the sorrow too much <br />But maiden remains through time untouched.<br /><br />Genny Thomas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/snow-white-18/
