Written: 2/21/11 <br />About: Cyani Velez <br /> <br />I'm trying to find the right words to say <br />But doing that would take all day <br /> <br />So I'll try to write a poem for you <br />In hope that you'll eventually become my boo <br /> <br />You're a good girl and a wonderful friend to me <br />And I know there's so much more that we can be <br /> <br />That's the reason you're taking over my hopes, my thoughts, and my dreams <br />Yet you don't know how much to me you mean <br /> <br />If you let me I'll show you how a girl is supposed to feel <br />And I'll show you that true love can be real <br /> <br />There's an opportunity here and I'm not going to stand by <br />While you go off and get your heart broke by some no good guy <br /> <br />You deserve all the respect a person could give <br />And I'll always care for you as long as I live <br /> <br />I'm one the guys who is in it for the long run <br />Who'll be there for the good and the bad, the boring and the fun <br /> <br />It's getting harder and harder to ask you out <br />It's getting harder to say it's you I can't be without <br /> <br />How do I tell you that you make my fears melt away <br />When I hear your voice in school everyday <br /> <br />There's nothing bad to say about you thus far <br />And I'll always like you just the way you are <br /> <br />When I first looked into your eyes all that I could see <br />Was a girl who I knew would be perfect for me <br /> <br />There are so many other things I have to say <br />But I'll end the poem in this way <br /> <br />Cyani love is a disease and you're the cure <br />A girl who is so sweet and whose heart is pure<br /><br />Jonathan Sewell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/13-the-cure/
