A country so far away <br />And for this we will pay <br />They don't want a democracy <br />They'd rather have a theocracy <br /> <br />We're going broke making arms makers rich <br />The pentagon doesn't care about our poor <br />Does the rest of our country want this war? <br />Someone has to stand up and bitch <br /> <br />These people will fight a thousand year war <br />We are hated and can't even the score <br />The deadly opium poppies growth should stop <br />And we won't even stop, that cash crop <br /> <br />Drugs come from that country for dough <br />And kill more people than ever before <br />The politicians are liars about the drug war <br />Ten years there, with so little to show <br /> <br />Their politicians are corrupt like mine <br />That's the same thing we have that haunts <br />And the military industrial complex wants <br />To fatten their bank's bottom line <br /> <br />Osama is gone and was not living there <br />Once again it's all about the money <br />If we keep this up, our future's not sunny <br />Let the largest super power beware <br /> <br />We can't be the world's moral leader <br />And still be the biggest bottom feeder <br />We can't even decide to come together <br />No matter the cause, no matter the weather <br /> <br />Billions spent and who is better off? <br />Only the ones feeding from the political trough <br />The stink will never leave their hands <br />Will our whole country end up the bad lands?<br /><br />J.B.
