In a certain place I drive in a smooth way <br />I noticed strange town names along the way <br /> <br />Such names as Otab, Auban, Agiri and Ihub <br />The places I can't recognize, nor recall of <br /> <br />Most specially the name of the town Auban <br />To the utmost point to recall the places I can <br /> <br />If those are in other side of the world called Oriental? <br />Or I see only those names just an incidental? <br /> <br />But the town landmarks are so familiar <br />And I'd been to the places in particular <br /> <br />In my thoughts I was there, I lived there before <br />But why the town's name is so strange, wherefore? <br /> <br />I stopped, sit still, then sit in upside down <br />Recalling and rundown the names, spelldown <br /> <br />O'er and o'er 'til my thoughts got stagnant <br />But in such quick swift of the moment <br /> <br />With rapid heart beats, I woke up from my dreams <br />Auban I recall - then Nabua to my mind beams <br /> <br />Ah, its my hometown, Nabua - Auban whatever <br />My sweet home reminding me even in my slumber <br /> <br />To my native land 'til my age go down the lane <br />Even though I'm far away my love still remain<br /><br />Ency Bearis<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/auban/
