You slugs, you sloths, you worse <br />Than insensible things, <br />Who will not do as is so <br />Urgently needed - how <br />Shall I dislodge you <br />From your barnacle-like attachments <br />And goad you toward <br />Our oh-so-badly needed objectives? <br />I who cannot roar, as I would <br />But must humbly beg attention, <br />Choking with frustration <br />With smarting tears of grief in my eyes, <br />Appeal to whatever pride you have <br />And the goodness of heart God gave you <br />Please, please, please release <br />This client from interminable wait; <br />Give him the document required <br />And let him say to his wife: <br />‘At last, it's finished!
