I've tried to write this out. <br />To get it from my head. <br />It seems right now, <br />my soul is dead. <br /> <br />Everything we been through. <br />All this time, I knew. <br />Infront of me- <br />all along I see. <br /> <br />To lie, to hide. <br />Keeping it, I wonder why. <br />And I, I do. <br />Time keeps passing by. <br /> <br />Hurtful, or crazy? <br />Discovering, so hazy. <br />Can't continue anymore. <br />Everything shattered that I adore. <br /> <br />It's blown away, lost in the dark. <br />Under deep darkening, torn apart. <br />A hellish hole <br />that deprives the soul. <br /> <br />I can't escape. <br />Despise, almost hate. <br />Locked away, so cold. <br />Almost fate. <br /> <br />There it stays, can't go away. <br />Sucked in, sucked out. <br />A life a love everything. <br />Faded actuality, no dout. <br /> <br />I've tried and tried. <br />It's all past aches, <br />Feeling nothing- <br />and the soul has died.<br /><br />Jessie Jett<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/death-of-a-soul-2/
