I want to drag you into my dark <br />to suck at your light <br />to show you the cave of dreams <br />the not-light <br />the orgy of the extremes <br />to show you that <br />all you had been told <br />is false <br />and that all of life has <br />been juxtaposed <br />that truth is false <br />and false is truth <br />or worse ignored; <br />to see you plummet into <br />the senses <br />experience the on-onslaught of joy <br />to feel my downtown <br />lapping up <br />life itself <br />milk and honey <br />drippings <br />all around <br />and deliciously <br />see you <br />understand <br />your eyes <br />lidded with new understandings of <br />away from <br />of joy received <br />to be outside of who you <br />were moments ago <br />the un-control <br />that true growth demands; <br />seeing you feast upon my soul <br />the one time in <br />your life and mine <br />when <br />abandon <br />melds with <br />wisdom <br />within ordered <br />chaos <br />sexuality and sex <br />desire <br />and surrender <br />need's passion <br />power <br />and grace. <br /> <br />I hear <br />you sigh <br />the good cry <br />surpassing my own <br />engulfed <br />by the experience of it all <br />the feeling of it <br />with no brain involved <br />just the being away <br />and marveling <br />at it. <br /> <br />The coming <br />inside <br />and out.<br /><br />Lonnie Hicks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-inside-of-out/
