You learn to kiss lightning <br />chew gum and play someone else <br />when approaching the world <br />on your mother's hilarious arm <br />you then see her bend <br />under the iron bar <br />of a removed fence one night <br />she disappears and naked you climb <br />the ladder into the house built on stilts over the water <br />into someone else's house and across the floor <br />high up in a mighty consciousness <br />known as Papua or the kingdom of Sweden or the Cape of Good Hope <br />or the Curved Space <br />you are <br />somewhere / in the luxury suite <br />protected by guards <br />you have a breast queen who likes wrestling and <br />a night-watchman with a black belt in karate <br />he practices yoga <br />you eat rice mixed with tuna <br />nuts mushrooms cucumber yellow onion green olives <br />and a creemy garlic sauce with coffee after <br />exiled Southeast Asians are playing tennis down below <br />on the asphalt court and badminton on the grass <br />you can rent pedal boats at the camping ground <br />and canoes if you <br />are air to others they can breathe <br />take a piss cry fire up shit <br />make a fertile ground for ideas <br />and verdure much of the night <br />a traveling wonder under skies <br />disappointment is like bad breath <br />something to avoid<br /><br />Mikael Ejdemyr<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/you-learn-to-kiss-lightning/
