The soft sunlight bathes <br />the last of the flowers. <br />The gentle sea breeze <br />kisses the branches, <br />releasing the sensual <br />scent of the lavender bush. <br /> <br />I'm drinking in the <br />moment - savouring it. <br />It spills over into <br />pleasant past memories: <br />People whom I've known <br />and warmly loved. <br /> <br />I reach out to an illusion <br />of strong emotions conjured <br />by the senses. Knowing it <br />will be lost as soon as <br />I try to capture it again. <br />Standing still now.
