Quarantines in Mali after Ebola claims second life

Officials in Mali are taking no chances, following the death of a second person from Ebola.<br/> <br />The victim was a 25-year-old nurse who died after treating a man from Guinea, whose symptoms were not initially recognized as Ebola.<br/> <br />A two-year-old died from ther virus last month.<br/> <br />Now..officials have confined more than 90 people in the capital city Bamako to quarantine.<br/> <br />Dr. Katarine Arrana of Bamako's Ebola treatment center.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (French) DOCTOR AT EBOLA TREATMENT CENTRE, KATARINE ARRANA, SAYING:<br/> <br />"It's stressful to know that there may be more cases, and the risk of getting the disease is high."<br/> <br />Government officials say all necessary steps to identify those who came into contact with the nurse have been taken.<br/> <br />The deaths make Mali the sixth West African nation to be affected, by the world's worst outbreak of the deadly virus.
