The suspect in a 1980 synagogue bombing is awaiting trial in Paris after being extradited from Canada.<br/> <br />Lebanese-Canadian Hassan Diab arrived in Paris Saturday.<br/> <br />The bombing he's accused of killed four people outside a synagogue in the wealthy 16th arrondissement in Paris on the final day of a Jewish festival.<br/> <br />His lawyer, Stephane Bonifassi, says his client maintains his innocence.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) LAWYER ACTING FOR HASSAN DIAB, STEPHANE BONIFASSI, SAYING:<br/> <br />"He has always claimed and he will keep on claiming that he is innocent, that he's got nothing to do with this attack."<br/> <br />Canadian police arrested Diab in 2008.
