The Nigerian army claims to have retaken Chibok, the northeastern town seized by Boko Haram only last Thursday.<br /><br />A town spokesman said the militants had disappeared following a joint operation between the army and local militia.<br /><br />In April the militants abducted hundreds of schoolgirls from Chibok, most of whom are still being held captive.
