REUTERS IS UNABLE TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE CONTENT OF THIS VIDEO, WHICH HAS BEEN OBTAINED FROM A SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE<br/> <br />These images uploaded to a social website, purport to show the aftermath of a government attack on rebel forces near the town of Hretan in northern Syria.<br/> <br />The town lies on the outskirts of Aleppo, where the two sides have been engaged in a vicious battle for control since 2011.<br/> <br />This latest attack was allegedly carried out by government forces dropping improvised explosives called barrel bombs from helicopters.<br/> <br />The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the attacks killed more than 35 people and left another 20 wounded.<br/> <br />The Syrian civil war, now into its fourth year, has killed close to 200,000 people and turned more than three million more into refugees.
