ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Police searched for 23 fugitives in Colombia on Tuesday (November 18) following a riot at a juvenile detention center in Bogota.<br/> <br />Inmates at the 'El Redentor' prison facility staged a riot in the early morning hours and authorities dispersed tear gas in an effort to quell the uprising.<br/> <br />Prisoners set mattresses on fire and threw rocks and sticks at security personnel.<br/> <br />Forty-three prisoners escaped during the riot, however police managed to capture 20 escapees. The search continued for the remaining 23 fugitives.<br/> <br />At least 27 police and security personnel suffered injuries in the revolt, while minor injuries were reported for several of the detainees.
