Pope Francis has addressed delegates at the second International Conference on Nutrition in Rome (ICN2).<br /><br />During his speech he said all men, women and children are part of the same human family and should live with love, justice and peace.<br /><br />The pope urged everybody to unite and live together in harmony in a world where people help each other.<br /><br />“There is a lack of solidarity, a word that we suspect that unconsciously we’re trying to remove from the dictionary. <br /><br />“Our societies are defined by a growing individualism and division, and it’s depriving the the weakest of a life with dignity and it provokes uprisings against the (public) institutions,” Pope Francis said.<br /><br />The three-day UN summit in Rome runs until Friday. <br /><br />The conference will review progress made towards improving nutrition since the previous meeting in 1992.
