An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 has struck the Vrancea region of Romania.<br /><br />The tremor which reportedly lasted for more than 30 seconds was felt strongly in the capital Bucharest and several other parts of the country.<br /><br />The authorities say there are no victims or significant damage.<br /><br />People also felt the quake in Moldova, Bulgaria and parts of Ukraine.<br /><br />It’s one of the strongest earthquakes Romania has experienced in recent years.<br /><br />In 1977 a tremor measuring 7.2 killed more than 1,500 people.
