Pope Francis has canonised six new saints, including a priest and a nun from the Indian state of Kerala in a ceremony at St Peter’s Square in the Vatican.<br /><br />The two Indians and four Italians who were said to have dedicated their lives to help the poor, the sick and the elderly and urged Italians to follow their example.<br /><br />Some 5,000 Catholics travelled from Kerala for the event.
