She's sold millions of albums, toured the world and won dozens of awards.<br/> <br />Now Tina Turner is marking another milestone, her 75th birthday.<br/> <br />The legendary soul and rock singer will celebrate the special birthday on Wednesday, November 26.<br/> <br />Turner, known for songs like "Private Dancer" and "What's Love Got To Do With It", was born in Tennessee in 1939.<br/> <br />She enjoyed huge success in the late 1960s and early 1970s performing with her husband, Ike Turner.<br/> <br />But the couple divorced in 1978 after a stormy marriage in which she was reportedly beaten.<br/> <br />She then launched her solo career in the 1980s to international acclaim.<br/> <br />Turner retired from performing after a sold-out farewell tour, which ended in 2009, and became a Swiss national in 2013.
