Protesters shut down a section of the 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles as demonstrations against the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case continued throughout the city Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.<br/> <br />California Highway Patrol officers were on the scene.<br/> <br />In Oakland, protesters blocked Interstate 580 in both directions near Interstate 980 and the Highway 24 interchange.<br/> <br />The marches come a day after a St. Louis County prosecutor announced jurors had decided not to indict Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson, who is white, for the fatal August 9 shooting of Brown, an unarmed, black 18-year-old man.
