Authorities are still going face to face with protesters in Hong Kong.<br/> <br />These protesters are trying to retake streets in the city's Mong Kok district... home of the two-month long civil disobedience campaign.<br/> <br />Chanting "We want real democracy," the protesters are vowing to remain defiant.<br/> <br />Police had earlier cleared the pro-democracy camps from the streets, arresting dozens of protesters including student leader Lester Shum.<br/> <br />And while many say they are determined to fight on, the pro-democracy movement is showing signs of splintering.<br/> <br />Hong Kong and Chinese leaders have refused demands for a free election with open nominations for the city's next leader.<br/> <br />The number of protesters has dropped to a few hundred scattered in tents. Public support is dwindling and Hong Kong authorities appear to be losing patience.<br/> <br />Many believe the streets will soon be open again, and the protests, a memory.
