The violence in Ramghar broke out when police tried to clear protesters from around the site of an electric crematorium being built in the city.<br/> <br />(natsot)<br/> <br />Local residents believe the crematorium will produce dangerous pollution, and they want the project stopped.<br/> <br />The matter is now before the High court, but construction of the facility is still underway...and anger has boiled over.<br/> <br />Police say more than thirty people were arrested in these latest clashes, with six officers injured.<br/> <br />But despite the violence, protesters say they will continue to fight until the project is cancelled.
