A Tulsa woman is dead after her toddler son accidentally shot her in the head while she was changing her 1-year-old daughter’s diaper, police say.<br /><br />According to police, it appears that her 3-year-old son shot her with a semiautomatic handgun.<br />Christa Engles, 26, was pronounced dead at a local hospital just after 5:30 p.m. on Monday after being transported from her east Tulsa home in “grave condition,” according to KJRH.<br /><br />According to a neighbor, the toddler found the gun underneath the couch. <br /><br />Engles was found by the children’s grandmother after she arrived home to find the victim in the front room of the house with a gunshot wound to the head, police say.
