Artist Matt C. Ellis has created a new mural in a series of works to bring awareness to the homeless. Often marginalized, stigmatized or completely forgotten Ellis' work shows the raw beauty that exists in many homeless people. <br /> <br />Starting in Miami, Ellis developed contact and in some cases friendships with the people he found homeless some allowed him to take photographs and later make large paintings of themselves. <br /> <br />He later moved back to New York where he lives today and continued the project. <br /> <br />Ellis also works full-time as a tattoo artist winning awards in this field.
