Dalai Lama attends 600th anniversary of Tibetan ritual

Tibetan throat-singing in Northern India, where exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, is presiding over a ceremony about a historical piece of Tibetan scripture.<br/> <br />He's here to mark 600 years since the writing of the "Great Tantric Commentary".<br/> <br />The event drew thousands of monks as well as Tibetan parliamentarians and ministers in-exile.<br/> <br />Tibet's Culture Minister-in-exile, Pema Chonjor, says the Dalai Lama talked about the importance of Buddhism in the contemporary world.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) TIBET'S RELIGION AND CULTURE MINISTER IN-EXILE, PEMA CHONJOR, SAYING:<br/> <br />"His Holiness spoke about the importance of Buddhism. Although there are many religions in the world, we cannot say that Buddhism is the best religion, but it's a very important religion.
