Watch for the speeding white SUV coming from left of screen. <br /> <br />An SUV crashed into a downtown building during a police chase Thursday morning. Police tried to stop the driver of a white SUV about 10:20 a.m., but the driver refused and sped off, losing control and hitting a fire hydrant before slamming into the building at 18th and Oak streets. <br /> <br />Structural engineers also were called to the scene after the building partially collapsed. The driver was injured. Police are still investigating.
