ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />A large crowd of spectators gathered at sunrise Friday to watch NASA's launch of the Orion spaceship.<br/> <br />The space capsule that's designed to one day fly astronauts to Mars blasted off at 7:05 a.m. EST from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.<br/> <br />Despite overcast skies, spectators got up early to watch the launch. "I was raised around this area and I've seen plenty of launches and I don't care which one it is, they always thrill me," said one spectator.<br/> <br />Splashdown in the Pacific Ocean is expected around 11:30 a.m. EST on Friday.
