Scuffles in the occupied West Bank village of Turmusiya, on Wednesday.<br /> <br />Before they're over, this Palestinian politician will be dead.<br /> <br />He's Ziad Abu Ein, a government minister and activist against Israeli settlements.<br /> <br />He and some 100 protesters, Palestinians and foreigners, came here to plant trees near an Israeli settlement , when they were stopped by about 15 Israeli troops at an improvised checkpoint.<br /> <br />Abu Ein, in his fifties, appeared winded from the tussles and the teargas.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) ZIAD ABU EIN, PALESTINIAN MINISTER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO, SAYING:<br /> <br />"We came to our Palestinian land to plant olive trees and they are attacking us from the first moment. Nobody threw a stone and nobody attacked back and this is the terrorist occupation army practicing suppression and terrorism against the Palestinian people."<br /> <br />The video stops ... but a Reuters photographer snaps the moment after the Minister is hit by a soldier in the neck and falls.
