ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />Traffic and order resumed in the Admiralty area of Hong Kong on Friday (December 12) after more than two months of pro-democracy protests.<br/> <br />The area next to the government headquarters had been the heart of the student-led occupation that choked some main areas of the city for weeks.<br/> <br />On Thursday, police arrested over 200 activists and cleared the main highway of barricades and hundreds of tents, though the overall mood remained defiant with some protesters remaining nearby.<br/> <br />The protesters want open nominations in the city's next election for chief executive in 2017.<br/> <br />Beijing has said it will only allow pre-screened candidates.
