Harvard Business School Associate Professor Ben Edelman ordered what he thought was $53.35 worth of Chinese food from a family-run Chinese restaurant. When he realized the restaurant, Sichuan Garden, had actually charged him $4 more than he expected, he responded in the most Harvard way ever. In several emails, he threatens the owner of the restaurant with litigation, calls the authorities, and demands several different refunds. All because the prices on their website were off by a dollar. Edelman is now apologetic about his behavior toward the restaurant.
