QUALITY AS INCOMING<br /> <br />ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br /> <br />STORY: Australian police stormed on Monday night (December 15) a Sydney café in the city's financial district where an armed man had been holding an unknown number of hostages since the late morning.<br /> <br />Video showed several of the hostages running out of the café shortly after 1500GMT, and a large number of SWAT personnel then entering the site of the siege.<br /> <br />A long series of loud explosions were heard and by 1530GMT medical personnel were wheeling hospital gurneys into the location.<br /> <br />At least three injured people were seen being removed from the site, including two on stretchers, one of whom appeared to be receiving CPR.<br /> <br />The suspect in the hostage siege was identified by police as Haron Monis, an Iranian refugee known for sending hate mail to the families of Australian soldiers killed overseas.<br /> <br />Monis, also known as Sheikh Haron, was charged last year with being an accessory to the murder of his
