ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Scores of Palestinians clashed with Israeli security forces on Friday (December 19) across the West Bank.<br/> <br />In the village of Turmusiya near Nablus, where a Palestinian minister died after being grabbed by the neck by an Israeli policeman at a protest last week, several hundreds of Palestinians held a commemoration march and 500 protesters hurled rocks at Israeli forces, the army said. Two Palestinians were lightly injured from riot dispersal means used by Israeli forces, it added.<br/> <br />Near the West Bank city of Qalandia, Israeli security forces used riot dispersal means as approximately 50 Palestinian youths were hurling rocks toward them, the army said.<br/> <br />Two Palestinians were lightly injured, it added.<br/> <br />The clashes came at a time of heightened tension between Israel and the Palestinians following months of violent unrest in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
