The son of one of China's biggest movie stars has been charged with a drugs offence by China's state prosecutor.<br/> <br />Jaycee Chan - the son of Hollywood star Jackie Chan - was arrested in Beijing earlier this year after testing positive for marijuana.<br/> <br />China's highest prosecuting agency released a brief statement saying it had begun legal proceedings against Chan for what it calls "the crime of sheltering others to take drugs".<br/> <br />Jaycee Chan wasn't available for comment but his father offered a "deep bow of apology" to the public for his son's arrest in August.
